With the family reunion over it was time to settle into our new (temporary) home in Astoria. Since our travels revolve around Jake’s rotation schedule we don’t have as much freedom as a lot of full time RVers. Obviously, his rotation in Astoria lasted a longer than the reunion, so we moved over to an RV park and settled in.
Since it was my mom’s last night visiting us we decided to make the most of it. In other words, there was chocolate involved.
This was only the third RV park we’d stayed in for more than a couple of days, so I was still fine tuning my good-park-finding skills. This one was simple. It had a fire pit, plenty of grass for the kids to run around on, and beautiful scenery. That’s a win in my book.
