When we first arrived in Manila things seemed overwhelming and chaotic. I thought I wouldn’t be able to take the kids anywhere in such a big, crazy city. But it only took a little exploring to realize we were surrounded by safe, fun things to do with our family.
One of those things was an incredible Children’s Museum just a few blocks away.
The museum had exhibits celebrating the Philippines’ many historical and cultural influences,
as well as tributes to modern life. JJ liked shopping in the Palengke, and Simon loved “cooking” lobster in the Carinderia.
Outside we found an awesome playground that included this brightly painted, retired, helicopter.
Children’s museums are a wonderful trend in the U.S., and I loved visiting one in a different country. What is the most interesting children’s museum you’ve visited?
